Paul J. Trasoweck, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Trasoweck, 2707 Dodge Avenue, has been promoted to first lieutenant. Lt. Trasoweck is aboard the U.S.S. Sevier A. P. A. 233 and took part in the Iwo Jima and Okinawa landings. He is a graduate of East High School, has been in the service about three years and in the Pacific area two years.
