Lake Park, Ia.—Raymond Thompson, 31, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvan Thompson of Ocheyedan, was honorably discharged from the army after three years of service. He has diabetes. He saw action in France and Germany.

Raymond Thompson was born Apr. 23, 1913 to Alvin W. and Ollie Bulthuis Thompson. He died Oct. 7, 1969 and is buried in Silver Lake Cemetery, Lake Park, IA. Sgt. Thompson served with the U.S. Army Infantry in World War II.
