John Donald Thompson was born Aug. 3, 1922 to John A. and Alma Fay Lynch Thompson. He died Jan. 3, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg.
Pvt. Thompson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 345th Infantry Regiment, 87th Infantry Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
