Donald Thompson Among Wounded
First Lt. Donald C. Thompson was wounded in action Apr. 10, in Germany, the War Department informed his wife, Charlotte, 1418 Garfield ave.
Lieutenant Thompson served with the 14th machine gun cavalry at Fort DesMoines until it was transferred to Fort Riley, Kan., in 1939.
He has served overseas since last September. The Thompsons have a son, Donnie.
