In Berlin
Pfc. Maurice Thomas, pictured, is on guard duty with the 82d airborne division in Berlin. Pfc. Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Thomas, Grand River. Pfc. Thomas entered service one and one-half years ago and took his basic training at Camp Hood, Texas. He sailed overseas and landed in Africa during the early part of 1944. He joined the 17th airborne division in March, 1945, and was transferred to the 82d airborne division June. He is a member of Co. I. 325th Glider infantry.
