William Garland Terry was born Mar. 24, 1919 to Augustus G. and Mary E. Hoag Terry. He died Jan. 24, 2004 and is buried in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, CA.
Lieutenant Junior Grade Terry served aboard the U.S.S. Texas with the Atlantic Fleet and the U.S.S. Ashland and U.S.S. LST 1070 in the Pacific Fleet.
