Jack Donald Tegtmeier was born Nov. 23, 1924 to Aaron Adolph and Christine Wedeking Tegtmeier. He died Feb. 28, 1944 and is buried in Arlington Cemetery, Waverly, IA.
Pvt. Tegtmeier served in World War II with the U.S. Army 15th Infantry, Third Division. He was KIA in the North African Area.
