Harold Leverne Swenson was born July 16, 1926 to Archie and Julia Andrina Tesdall Swenson. He died Feb. 5, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium and memorialized in Story City Cemetery, Story City, IA.
Pvt. Swenson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and was KIA in Germany and awarded the Purple Heart.
