Our Neighbors in the Service
Sanborn, Iowa – E. W. Swanson, retiring superintendent of schools here, has reported at Cambridge, Mass., for a five-month course at Harvard University after receiving a commission as a lieutenant (j.g.) in the navy. Lieut. Swanson came to Sanborn in 1931, assuming the position of principle of the high school which he held for six years. Mrs. Swanson and their daughter, Nancy, will remain here. E. O. Moe High School principle has been chosen as superintendent.
