Marvin B. Strait was born July 1, 1922 to Blake Victor and Maude Moomaw Strait. He died May 19, 1942 and is buried in Sidney Cemetery, Sidney, IA.
Pvt. Strait served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron and became a POW and died as a POW in a prison camp on Luzon, Philippine Islands.
