Our Neighbors in the Service
Cushing, Iowa—Vernon K. Stoneking and Loren Hefner apprentice seamen, are stationed at Camp Scott, Farragut, Idaho, for their boot training. Hefner is a son of Mrs. Alvena Hefner of Cushing. Stoneking’s wife and their sons, Douglas and Kenneth, live in Cushing.
Private Joe Stoneking has been transferred from Omaha to Sioux Falls.
