Edward S. Stone was born about 1919 to Evan and Luella Moore Stone. He died Aug. 15, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.
Lt. Stone served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 549th Bomber Squadron, 385th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA and was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
