Milton Paul Stoll was born Nov. 1, 1923 to William C. and Magdelena B. Stoll. He died Aug. 9, 1944 and has a cenotaph in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Blairstown, IA. He is buried in Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Normandy, France.
Sgt. Stoll served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 585th Bomb Squadron, 394th Bomb Group, Medium in World War II. He was KIA in France and awarded a Purple Heart.
