Lloyd Joseph Stith was born Aug. 9, 1915 to Orel C. and Blanche Potter Smith. He died Nov. 8, 1944 and is buried in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Capt. Stith served in World War II with the U.S. Army Headquarters Co., Ninth Army and died in the European area while serving his country.
