John Charles Stever was born Dec. 20, 1921 to Ralph H. and Margaret C. Black Stever. He died July 26, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.
Lt. Stever served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Crops 419th Bomber Squadron, 301st Bomber Group, Heavy and died in the service of his country over Austria. He was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
