Lyle Henry Stephen was born Aug. 23, 1919 to Henry Mearl and Tacy Ann Snyder Stephen. He died Apr. 28, 1943 and is buried in Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem, OR.
Sgt. Stephen served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th Infantry Division and was killed in North Africa while in the service of his country.
