Harold R. Stahr was born Aug. 28, 1923 to Frank Charles and Blanche Lorraine Eckhart Stahr. He died Nov. 17, 1944 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery and Memorial, Henri-Chapelle, Belgium.
Pvt. Stahr served with the U.S. Army H & S Co. 149th Engineers, Co. I, 415th Infantry, 104th Division in World War II. He was KIA in Germany. At the time of Harold’s death his father, Frank Stahr, machinist first class in the Navy, was believed to be stationed somewhere in the Pacific.
