Harold Laurence Smith was born Sept. 21, 1925 to Harry H. and Harriet Louise Gray Smith. He died Feb. 12, 1945 and is buried in Winterset City Cemetery, Winterset, IA.
Sgt. Smith served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died of wounds received in action in Luxembourg.
