Richard K. ‘Rich' Smith was born Sept 28, 1917. He died Jan. 3, 2001 in Missoula, MT.
Lt. (jg) Smith was the officer in command of PT Boats in the South Pacific in World War II and he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal by the Vice Admiral of the Navy. The skill and determination displayed by the personnel of the PT boats received the highest praise from Admiral Chester Nimitz.

Philip Eugene ‘Phil’ Smith was born Oct. 24, 1919. He died July 6, 2008 and is buried in the Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
During World War II, Dr. Smith achieved the rank of Major and volunteered to serve with Merrill’s Marauders in Burma where he received the Bronze Star for meritorious service. His infantry unit operated behind enemy lines and was presented the Presidential Unit Citation. He was also the holder of the Combat Infantryman’s Badge.

Granville Jesse ‘Jesse’ Smith was born Aug. 23, 1913. He died June 4, 1995 and is buried in Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
Ensign Smith became an instructor at the Navy Radar Training Schools.
