PFC Albert C. Slick, whose wife and three sons live at 1620 Isabella Street, has been awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received April 12, at Okinawa. He spent six weeks in a naval hospital in the Mariannas and is now stationed on Mindanao attached to company headquarters as a jeep driver.
