Joseph Seward Siverly was born Oct. 15, 1915 to William S. and Bessie L. Nurse Siverly. He died Apr. 16, 1945 and is buried in Forest Home Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, IA.
Sgt. Siverly served in World War II with the U.S. Army 17th Infantry, 7th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action on Okinawa.
