Clarence E. Shoemaker was born Sept. 1, 1917 to Clarence and Myrtle Belle Weeks Shoemaker. He died May 23, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Pvt. Shoemaker served in World War II with the U.S. Army 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart.
