New Hampton—Leonard H. Shillinglaw, New Hampton high school athletic director before entering the service, has been assigned to Doane College, Crete, Neb., where he will have charge of the V-12 program.

Leonard Huffman Shillinglaw was born Dec. 7, 1909 to Andrew G and Carrie Manion Shillinglaw. He died Apr. 5, 1984 and is buried in Grandview Cemetery, Fayette, IA.
