Storm Lake, Iowa—Floyd Shewell, a June inductee, has been transferred from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to Camp Roberts, California.

Floyd Francis Shewell AKA Floyd Francis Faught was born May 23, 1911 to Harry and Margaret A. Faught. He was the step-son of Charles Arthur Shewell. He died Nov. 19, 1969 and is buried in Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery, Storm Lake, IA.
Pvt. Shewell served in World War II with the U.S. Army 78th Infantry.
