Samuel Paul Shaeffer was born July 8, 1922 to Russell G. and Juanita S. Shaeffer. He died Aug. 6, 2004 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
Cpl. Shaeffer served during World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps in China, India and Burma as a radio operator.
