Edward Carlos Scribbins was born Aug. 20, 1920 to Roy Frank and Marjorie Frick Scribbins. He died Dec. 9, 2009 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter, IA.
Sgt. Scribbins served in World War II with the U.S. Army 14th Field Artillery Observation Battalion and was awarded the Purple Heart.
