Willis R. Schwartz was born Feb. 10, 1920 to Fredric Glenn and Lulu Duvall Schwartz. He died Sept. 22, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.
Pvt. Schwartz served in World War II with the U.S. Army 38th Infantry Battalion, 7th Armored Division and was MIA/KIA in France. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
