Kenneth Ray Schroppel was born Jan. 2, 1922 to Edward and Martha Ruth Spreing Schroppel. He died Nov. 19, 1945 and is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Glendale), Glendale, CA.
Flight Officer Schroppel served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 14th Air Force, 530th Fighter Squadron, 311th Fighter Group and was MIA/KIA in China while in the service of his country.
