Delbert Herbert Schoenfeld was born Oct. 26, 1923 to Herbert and Anna Preul Schoenfeld. He died Oct. 17, 1944 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
Pvt. Schoenfeld served in World War II with the U.S. Army 36th Armored Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Division and was KIA in the European area. He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart.
