Arthur Leonard Schipper was born Oct. 8, 1922 to William and Elizabeth Van Duyn Schipper. He died Mar. 16, 1942 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Peterson, IA.
Pvt. Schipper served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II and was killed in the crash of his military aircraft which was returning to its home base, Pendleton, OR.
