HELP WIN WAR—Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Scanlan of Crystal Lake are proud of their 2 sons, who are helping Uncle Sam with this war. Just this week they heard that Ivan, who is somewhere in England, has been promoted from 1st lieutenant to captain. Pat Scanlan, shipfitter 1/c, now home on his first furlough in 41 months, spent 13 months on Midway and 28 months at Pearl Harbor.
