Carroll E. Sandahl was born Dec. 6, 1909 to Emil and Hulda Sandahl. He died July 14, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Pvt. Sandahl served in World War II with the U.S. Army 35th Infantry Division and died in France while in the service of his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
