Floyd L. Sackett was born Nov. 15, 1922 to Floyd L. and Effie May Dorothy Sackett. He died May 29, 1944 and is buried in Taylorville Cemetery, Arlington, IA.
Cpl. Sackett served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 484th Bomb Group, 847th Bomb Squadron, 8th Air Force and died in Tibenham, England in an airplane accident while in the service of his country.
