Richard Dewayne Ross was born Feb. 9, 1924 to Glen Wayne and Gladys Irene Holmes Ross. He died Jan. 4, 1945 and is buried in Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England.
Cpl. Ross served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 74th Squadron, 434th Troop Carrier Group and died while in the service of his country.
