Louis P. “Louie” Rieken was born Dec. 23, 1921 to Louis P. and Grace Pearl French Rieken. He died Aug. 29, 1944 and is buried in Rhone American Cemetery and Memorial, Draguignan, France.
Pvt. Rieken served in World War II with the U.S. Army 753rd Tank Battalion and died of wounds received in action in the North African area and was awarded the Purple Heart.
