Roland E. Reynolds was born Aug. 6, 1916 to Christopher Franklin and Laura Spinier Reynolds. He died June 11, 1944 and is buried Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France and has a cenotaph in Rosehill Cemetery, Mento, IA.
Pvt. Reynolds served in World War II with the U.S. Army 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division and was KIA during the Normandy Invasion and awarded the Purple Heart.
