Paul O. Ramsey was born Feb. 2, 1911 to William F. and Carrie F. Pelsor Ramsey. He died June 14, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France and is memorialized in Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola, IA.
Sgt. Ramsey served in World War II with the U.S. Army 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in France and was awarded the Purple Heart.
