James H. Robinson was born in 1909 to Charlton and Elizabeth Jane Swain Robinson. He died Nov. 25, 1944 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and is memorialized at Dallas Cemetery, Melcher-Dallas, Marion Co., IA.
Sgt. Robinson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 128th Infantry, 32nd Division and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
