Dan W. Rickert, son of S. J. Rickert, 223 Webster building, has been transferred from Fort Mead, South Dakota to the University of Oklahoma at Norman for technical training and has been promoted to private first class.

PFC. Dan Rickert, who was wounded November 30 in France while serving with the infantry, is spending a two-week convalescent furlough with his father, F. J. Rickert, 223 Webster building. He is stationed at the Percy Jones general hospital in Battle Creek, Mich.
