Kenneth W. Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Rasmussen, 4601 Central Avenue, is an aviation student at Oklahoma A. and M. College at Stillwater. Rolland L. Rasmussen, a brother is stationed at Camp Scott naval training station, Farragut, Idaho. William N. Larson, a brother of Mrs. Rasmussen and a former Sioux Cityan, is in radio intelligence at Fresno, California. His wife resides at Elmhurst, Illinois.

IN UNIFORM
Second Lt. Kenneth W. Rasmussen has been relieved from active duty, after three and a half years in the army air forces, at the Randolph Field, Texas, separation Center. He retains his rank and commission and is subject to recall. He is a son of Grover Rasmussen, 4041 Monroe Street, now residing at Phoenix, Ariz. Lt. Rasmussen entered the service in January 1942 and was on inactive duty until March 1943, when he entered cadet training. He received his pilot’s wings and commission in May 1944 at Frederick, Okla. He served as an instructor at Liberal Kansas and then was transferred to Hondo Army Airfield, Texas.
