William D. Quam was born Aug. 25, 1924 to William Webster and Ida Johnson Quam. He died Sept. 25, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.
Pvt. Quam served in World War II with the U.S. Army 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division and was KIA in France and awarded the Purple Heart.
