James Nathaniel Puckett was born Aug. 2, 1919 to Clarence F. and Margaret Ann Puckett. He died Oct. 12, 1944 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Cpl. Puckett served in World War II with the U.S. Army Headquarters Co. and Co. D, 63rd Infantry, 6th Division and died near Sansapor, New Guinea while on active duty.
