Chester William Pieken was born Jan. 24, 1920 to William H. and Emma Charlotte Martin Pieken. He died Jan. 28, 1997 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Anita, IA.
Sgt. Pieken served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and was MIA and became a German POW.
