Mervin Hale Pease was born May 21, 1920 to Harry M. and Alta Estella Whaley Pease. He died Feb. 6, 1945 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Stuart, IA.
Lt. Pease served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II with the 1345th Base, Bengal Wing and was killed in an airplane crash in Khurmatola, India.
