Oto, Iowa—Charles R. Parkhill, son of Charlie Parkhill, has completed a course in aviation mechanics at the army air field at Amarillo, Texas.

Charles R. Parkhill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas Parkhill, route 1, who served 18 months in the European Theater of operations as an engineer gunner and recently was released from a German prisoner of war camp, is reported to have arrived at the San Antonio, Texas, A.A.F. personnel distribution command.
