Robert George Overton was born Nov. 19, 1918 to George and Helen Fitzgerald Overton. He died Jan. 25, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Sgt. Overton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 113th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and was KIA in Germany and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
