IOWA GI MISSING IN LUXEMBOURG
Kensett Infantryman Last Reported Dec. 20
Kensett -- Mrs. Otto Ostby received notice from the war department that her husband, Pfc. Ostby, was listed as missing in action since Dec. 20.
He had been in the infantry in Luxembourg, entering the service in April, 1944. He trained at Camp Fannin, Texas.
Mrs. Ostby, and son, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ostby, live at Kensett.
There are 4 brothers in the service, Lt. Roger Ostby, stationed in Bermuda; 2nd Lt. Wallace Ostby, in Texas, Thomas Ostby, yeoman 1/c, stationed in a navy recruiting office in Springfield, Ill. and Pfc. William Ostby, overseas in France, in the medical corps.
