IN UNIFORM
Michael C. O’Hara, son of John O’Hara, Sr., 2715 Vine Street, has been awarded the silver wings as a pilot, graduating as a second lieutenant at LaJunta army air field, LaJunta, Colorado. He completed the final phase of flight training as an aviation cadet in the AT-24 airplane, a slightly modified version of the famed Mitchell B-25 medium bomber. Lieut. O’Hara attended East High School and before going into service was an aircraft assemblyman for Beech Aircraft corporation, Wichita, Kansas.
