Ralph John Nyren AKA Ralph John Hedlund was born about 1917 to Clarence and Beda Hedlund and adopted by David C. and Anna Britta Johnson Nyren. He died Feb. 25, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.
Lt. Nyren served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 419th Bomber Squadron, 301st Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA in Europe in the service of his country.
