Roy Edward Nuzum was born May 4, 1913 to Walter Franklin and Dora Evadell McGee Nuzum. He died Aug. 19, 1943 and is buried in Spring Valley Cemetery, Moorhead, IA.
Sgt. Nuzum served in World War II with the U.S. Army Headquarters Troop, Sixth Cavalry and died as the result of a government vehicle accident while serving his country at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
